3. Emmeline "The Predator" Portable USB DAC/Amp

Does the Cowon have a line-out socket or are you going to use the headphone socket?

If there's no line out then, in my opinion, don't bother with an external amp just use the built in one.

I've no doubt other opinions will differ.

I found that through my ipod there was just a slight difference is SQ going through the hp out to the amp, but a world of difference going through the line out.....if no line out i agree, no amp....
