The right ear of my SE530 is very faint while the left ear has full volume. I think the right ear might be clogged up. I took off the tip and got out my trusty little cleaning tool with the wire loop. I inserted it into the tiny canal of the sleeve but there did not appear to be any foreign matter stuck in there. After doing this, there is still practically no sound coming out. My gut tells me that it is not a broken wire, but I'm not sure.

other than contacting shure its not something we can really advise you on since you really cant take any pics and sounds like you've taken the right steps. well sorry but I havent go any ideas thats really weird. does sound like its broken though. can you see anything down there??
