How do you clean your system?

I know about Caig and stuff for connectors, but how do you clean oxidation off of a circuit board? How do you clean pots?

You can use Caig Deoxit on circuit boards, I have cleaned out my amp and for some reason I think I actually heard some differences (I cleaned mostly the soldering joints which look like they need to be redone anyway, but I am not going to risk it looking at my DIY luck...)

Cool. Thanks. BTW, I totally know how you feel about DIY things. Four years ago I tried to solder a modchip to my playstation. Lemme just say I haven't played videogames for a long time...
