I am getting into classical music and was wondering what albums are recommended for each of the major genres of classical music? I want to find what I like best so I can further explore it.

Also interested in how people are setting up metadata for their classical music files.

Just watched Beethoven’s 9th Symphony by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra on YouTube. Absolutely brilliant! This will be one I pick up. Recommendations on which version on CD for the 9th?
