Hello,
I want to buy a smartphone with Android which is not too expensive. I'm wondering if there are budget rigs you can recommend consisting of a basic smartphone and an external DAC with integrated headphone amp.
I feel that the cheap smartphones' headphone outputs are always too noisy so a DAC is needed. Is this correct?
Do I need a special music player app to get bit-perfect output (no EQ, bass boost or digital volume)?
