Not neccecarily if you go straight from a decent soundcard. There is little to nothing to gain by using my Zero DAC/amp, compared to going straight from my Echo Mia soundcard as far as I can hear. Of course, it could depend on what headphones used.

Dur, you'd need an Amp if you went the DAC route.

If I would like to use DHA3000 with my desktop. What's I must to choose between External soundcard(ESI U24-XL) and Internal soundcard(ESI Juli@) for this connection?
