Changes and possible temporary slowdown.

As you may have noticed, I made a few forum adjustments/changes.

Thanks to joelongwood for his suggestions.

Anyway, some of the things I'm working on now may slow the forum down a bit, but just while I'm working on them. Shouldn't be more than a couple hours.

If you're experiencing slowdowns, thanks for your patience.

The forums have been up long enough -- and there has been enough activity -- to determine which forums could be merged into other forums due to slower activity.

Cable forum posts have been moved to Electronics & Accessories.

DIY Other posts have been moved to DIY Amps; then DIY Amps was renamed to DIY Discussions.

SACD/DVD-A and MP3 have been merged into the Other Technologies forum, and it has also been renamed.

Front page is quite a bit leaner now.

Also, the forum search engine is being re-indexed to take into account the recent moves and adjustments, and this may make the search function inaccurate for a very short time (15 to 20 minutes).
