As for HD53, the trouble where noise appears in the volume adjustment time is many.
Also my HD53 was similar.

It checked whether some part is used. It is necessary to remove the many TORX screws.

Place of problem here is.
aluminum volume knob = 22mm
Pot is mini-size = 9mm !
Pot mark "HTA100K".
It seems like 100KΩ of A curve.

Black box is 6.3mm stereo headphone jack.
Volume Pot is small & Poor !!

A lot of capacitors that are.

Assembly characteristic (disassembly characteristic).

I plan to exchange the volume pot.
I returned it because I had understood the specification of Pot.
(Dual-unit 100K A-Curve)
