Which one is the one to use?

The 2 Pin "Digital" or the 4 Pin "Analog" (on the CDROM).

Where does the 2 Pin actually go?

I dont think you need to use either of them with modern sound cards.

Alright, I was just checking...Because right now, I really don't have a soundcard (never bought one, using SoundMAX) and am about to buy the Xitel Hi-Fi Link (the analog 3.5mm one).

Yeah nearly all recent soundcards stream the digital info over the IDE cable. Althouh there are still options in some programs to extract the info from the onboard DAC of the cdrom. Some cdroms arent comming with those anymore.

The Audigy2 allows you to srteam bit perfect CD information to your computer's SPDIF output without resampling to 48 Khz first. If you output to a high end receiver, it could be beneficial (in theory).
