Hi,
I figured this would be the best forum to ask this question in.
My niece has just gotten a laptop and a Nano and I am looking for a CD burning program that is extremely simple and very music friendly for her. Since she has the Nano, iTunes is installed, but I think it would be better to have one program that does all her cd burning, both data and audio. She saw me using Nero 7, and her eyes glazed over. And yes, it's a PC.
Thanks!

I have not used it myself, since I am a Mac user.
But have heard good things about CDBurnerXP, and from the features and pictures it looks quite nice.

Its free, so at least well worth a try.

How much data cd burning does your niece do?

Unless it's a key part of her day-to-day, just use itunes for music burning and get her a thumb drive. That's surely easier than integrating itunes purchases into any external cd burner

Roxio came bundled with my laptop, and is pretty easy to use. I probably wouldn't have paid for it separately though. Mind you, I also find Nero 7 straightforward enough - just the Start Smart software, the Home essentials I think can be a bit of a minefield. Both Roxio and Nero seem adept at handling audio burning, be it MP3 or normal CD audio.
