i hope this isn't too old news, but i just saw a spellbinding surreal anime. it's 30 minutes, and consider it pg13.

That was weird, beatiful, and surreal. If not for the Wikipedia spoiler, I would not have understood it.

i am glad you enjoyed. for me this short is exactly what animation should be.

It's been out for a while now. While not to the level of Tamala 2010: A Punk Cat In Space, it has its charms.

Curiously enough, it's directed by the same guy who did Nadesico.

Wow...what a weird little cartoon. It was fascinating and moving, yet so simple and surreal. Awesome.
