Has anyone heard this cdp? What are your impressions? How does it compare to other cd players between $1,000 and $3000? This question is asked mostly out of curiosity.

The Cary CD-306 (I think -- maybe it was the 303) was the source used when Vka and I auditioned the Cary CAD-300SEI at Goodwin's Audio. It's probably great, but it's difficult to tell since all the equipment we were hearing (except for headphones) was new to us.
