Hi, i am currently doing a review on a headphone amp and i have been able to use it and all with audio. But as of today i have been gone, and i game home and jumped on my computer and through my headphones on. But i cant hear anything. I have used foobar, iTunes, zune, and battlefield badcompany 2 and nothing. When i go on each of these the program just freezes. I have the latest version of iTunes and i am fine. But nothing. Head Fi please help me with a critical problem.

first check that ur source. i suppose the sound card is outputing audio. ie try your standard headphones direct plugged into the sound card bypassing the amp.
 
if that works, double check ur amp connections, uhm the switches too. some amps have DAC which should install automatically but you never know.
 
oh check ur PC's default audio out since I know from when i use win7 with 2 sound cards and my dac/amp setup it sometimes switch to the other soundcard....cuz of my games and such.
