I have a cheap prodipe midi synth that has a midi-out port. I connect it to my analog synth and it works when I press keys on the midi synth. But I want to send the midi signal from my computer to the midi synth through USB. Is this possible?
In FL I put the generic controller port to 2 and tick "Send master sync" and then in MIDI-out plugin, I set the port also to 2, but nothing happens when I press the keys in there. Is there something else I have to do or this just can't work?
The reason I'm asking this is to make sure whether I have to buy an audio interface with midi-out or I could handle without it.
