Cambridge Audio DacMagic Plus or audio gd nfb-15

which one is better value?
 
i would like a device which when i connect my powered speakers yamaha hs7 will sound better, mainly playing music from computer macbook via usb
 
also will the cambridge allow me to plug headphones and will it cut off speaker?

For less than the price of the Cambridge DAC Magic Plus, you could get the Audio GD NFB-11 and still have a bit of money left over.

it has better outputs then the audio gd for the price range...whether it makes a massive difference i don't know

Yes. It does have a lot of inputs. I believe the Audio-GD unit has more power for headphones, but not sure.

With the Audio-GD units, you are buying direct from the manufacturer in China. So not paying for a middle man and all the marketing that a traditional brick and mortar store brand has to build into the price.

I have the NFB-11, which is the same headphone amp and pre-amp as the NFB-15 (only the DAC is different). So I think the NFB-15/11 series is a great value.

and this dac audio-gd has a switch, to change between speaker and headphone right? if plugged in great

Yes. A switch right on the front. The Audio-GD units sound excellent.
