Okay, I'll confess that I'm not looking to use headphones at the lake although I do that now. We usually entertain guests and have a need for music that the group can enjoy. Since radio reception stinks and it's somewhat inconvenient to carry/change cds under those circumstances, I got the idea that if I could locate something like a boombox with a line in or rca's I could hook up my Jukebox, set it and forget it. Problem is finding a boombox or something along those lines with a line in or rcas. Anyone got suggestions. I've been searching Amazon but can't seem to find info on connections in the players features. Any help appreciated.

You should try connecting an ipod to the altec lansing speakers dock. Its portable and i belive it runs on batteries. The Ipod just snaps in between the two speakers. Somewhat expensive IMO tho, something like 150 bucks.

First place I looked but $200 is way to high for that use. Really, I'm just looking for a cheap(75 bucks or less) way to share the tunes. Appreciate the help though.

Found a Panasonic unit that fits the bill for $59 but no CD. Oh well, I wasn't too excited about taking cds to the lake anyway so no biggie. Would have been nice though. Thanks to all who tried to help.
