Hmm....I have the Columbia Legacy release that is just like the newest Kind Of Blue CD release.......red disc, "360 degree sound," etc.

I know what they are.....it was my understanding that HDCDs achieve 20-bit sound in a way similar to SBM...except they sound better..........or some such thing.
They do play a few decibels louder than the average CD.....
