I'm using Vista x64 SP2

Chrome - 14.0.835.187 (Official Build 103488) m

I'm not a regular visitor to the forums, it's probably been a few months since my last visit, but I had no issues months and months ago.  Now nearly every forum page I try to visit partially loads, hangs (the scroll bar no longer functions on that tab).

I had a bunch of tabs open and did allow one script through (thinking it was a completely different tab/page causing the problem) and now I'm a bit concerned, especially seeing reports of malicious software/viruses, supposedly from some the adverts.  KAV didn't throw up any alerts, but AV isn't perfect.

This is one page that refuses to load properly and hangs:

http://www.head-fi.org/t/562618/woo-audio-wa2-and-wa22-comparisons-finally-finished-whew/15

here's another:

even your main page (http://www.head-fi.org/) hangs.

Update:

Browser started hanging on another forum that I hang out on, so perhaps not head-fi.org's fault after all.  Have cleared cookies/cache and restarted browser, seems to be OK for the moment.  Still a bit worried with having allowed that script (well, more Chrome telling me it hang, did I want to continue with the script).  Not entirely sure which page caused it either, since I had about 20 tabs open at the time.
