I'm not a big funk aficionado. Love Hard Bop Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, a little Electronica.
I put together a Gentlemen (movie) soundtrack playlist. Cymande's (from the album Promised Heights) track "Brothers On The Slide" is a sonic masterpiece.
Fantastic separation, great mastering. I also added it to my Headphone Equipment Test Playlist. Hard to believe this album came out in 1972.
I wonder if Guy Ritchie's hand is in this pick?
