I just picked up one of these for half the new price to get back into headphones. It's shockingly good as a combined unit. The review of Projectx86 on Part time audiophile said it really is reference level and I believe it. I didn't see a thread for it so I started one. Anyone else using one?

Great DAC with excellent capable amplifier full of unique technical solutions. Very detailed, clean sound with bit of warmth, non fatiguing. Real treat for ears. Expensive, but worth every penny.

Expensive, but worth every penny.I've used the Ultradac for well over two years and would wholeheartedly agree it's a great all round performer. I bought it after a mate who reviewed it for a major online site recommended it to me. It replaced my Didit 212 DAC and managed to significantly out preform it in most areas. Very solid and well engineered DAC with an excellent preamp and headphone stage. The presentation is superbly defaulted without sounding in your face bright. Love it.
