It has been a while since I used any wired headphones, therefore my amps are sitting still for a while. Since then, I have acquired a speaker system and am waiting for a Bluesound Node X. It’s advertised to have an improved headphone amp section with, according to Bluesound:

• State of the art headphone amplifier features THX’s Achromatic Audio Amplifier (THX AAA™) technology and a full-sized 1/4” (6.35mm) jack for no-compromise headphone listening

Back in the days I was using Mapletree Audio tube amps to power a Grado RS1. Will the Node X be somewhat decent or still far behind any high end amp? I’m a bit out of the loop, hence the question.
