Have any of you tried there speakers? They look really neat and have gotten pretty good reviews on the web. They are designed by the ex-B&W Nautilus guys.

The sub and two speakers costs $1100.

No, haven't heard them myself, but I followed all their reviews several years back. They got seriously good reviews. I'd feel comfortable getting them with no hesitation, assuming they met your needs (sensitivity, size, SOAF, etc.).

EDIT: they should have been here, but that site is not working for me right now.

I had those a few years ago.
They are wonderful. There might be a lot of better sounding speakers around, but these little "pods" make you feel good by just looking at them. (I assume you like the look like me.)
With proper setup in a small to medium room, they are very good. I think you can get a better price than that, look around.
Happy Listening.

edit : by the way, mine was blue. I love the color.

How is the workmanship? I heard they were poorly built.

Also, do they create enough Bass to stand on there own?

I have them. I have had them for about two years. For the money they are awesome and looks so cool. You really can't go wrong with them.

I use them in my office they are only speakers I could live with for my office based on the looks and sound. You can check out my system here http://forum.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/fr...ome&1017001258 for reference. I have had all of the nautlius speakers from b&w 804-803's. They drivers were also made by b&w for a while. I dont know if they still are though.

I also think the quality is really good.. I can honestly say they are a great buy.
