I need to pick up a decent set of RCA-RCA IC's, and ran across Blue Jeans Cables website. Seems I can get a decent pair of IC's for around $30 shipped.

Has anyone tried their products and can give me their opinion?

thanks,
J.

I like them.....that's all I use for my HT system. I don't believe in overspending for cables, and the BJC stuff is proven quality products.

It's a good cable for the money and the folks at Bluejeans have always been a pleasure to deal with. I really like their video cables and for audio, you'd have to spend a LOT more money to get any real improvement in SQ.

I bought a pair that I'm using for interconnects between my DAC and amp, and I'm pleased with them. One less thing to worry about, and there's definitely worse ways to spend your money. They have a very quality feel about them, if that means anything.

They use decent cable and they are built very well. Good quality at a good price. I have several pairs of IC's from them, and there is little in that price range that will give you what they can deliver. Also they offer a 30 day trial. If you do not like them, you can return them.

Yes, these are good quality cables at low prices. I have the stereo RCA cables and they do not commit the sins of commission or omission unlike my Cardas Golden Reference cables. I use these cables because I know that they simply carry the signal without signal degradation or euphonic colorations. You should go with them. These are my real neutral and transparent reference cables.

Has anyone tried there magic power cord? They look like a real bargain. I ordered some volex cords last week but these look more aestetically pleasing

Also has anyone ever done a shoot out between the blue jeans cables and signal cables. I'm sure they are both of high quality and I'm pretty sure its a win win situation.

I haven't tried Signalcable's power cord, but I can vouch for the Volex. I'd spend more money on other parts before I'd worry too much about fancier power cords.

well, in the efforts of steering things back to the original topic, I was only interested in their RCA-RCA intereconnects

I have a number of BlueJean's cables in my video system, from composite to their monster single-piece component IC's and they are great. I don't think you'll go wrong - nicely made, especially compared to anything more than what they ask for them. Very good performers. Since they use industry standard wire - Belden - and quality assembly them for you, how wrong can you really go?

I have some RCA-RCA interconnects from BJC and they work fine. They do what they're supposed to do which is transfer the signal from one component to the other. If you want prettier cables that work the same or even worse but cost more you can go that route too. BJC are good cables period.
