BLO-0299 is an audiophile quality headphone amplifier which is housed in beautiful natural wooden box. Its compact size is excellent for desktop use. BLO-0299 can drive balanced headphone (also two single ended headphones). Balanced headphone listening provides a more natural, musical, and detailed sound with great stereo imaging.

The BLO-0299's Integrated circuit was designed to provide great detail and clarity. The circuit design is clearly better than even the best discrete designs. High quality metal film resistors are used, no electrolytic capacitors are in the signal path. All passive parts are hand selected to provide close matching and even the solder used is high grade. BLO-0299 has achieved ultra low noise and distortion, very flat frequency response, and great phase property. The BLO-0299 was designed for true musical tone.

One of my friends just came home from Can Jam and he said this amplifier was his most surprising experience with his HD800. I have been looking for information and reviews of this amplifier but havn't been able to find any. Does anyone have some links for more reading and info?

SkyLab on Headfi has my unit from CanCam 2010 and will be doing a review and posting to Headfi. It then goes onto Absolute Sound for review in Playback magazine . All the current reviews are Asian and I dont have translations. All the other info is above. It is a great amp and can easily recommend it!!

Have read your review.
Am planning on buying the blossom.
I own a Woo WA22 with stock tubes and would like to know if the blossom would offer a different sound signature.
Also on order are the SCHIIT Valhalla/Lyr
FYI headphones; Grado PS1000/GS1000i/RS1i/LCD-2/HD800
Have an affinity towards the warm grado sound
thanks

Yes it will be a very different sound from the Woo. Which is a warm lush musical sound. The is warm for a solid state but not as warm as the Woo. It is more towrds the neutral sid of things. Your source will dictate alot of what the amp will sound like. Dont let the size fool you it is a giant killer:)
