I use a Blackberry 10 smartphone. i love it and don't wish to switch to another platform.
The OS itself is android compatible - anything not needing google play services works fine.
Anyway, I want to use an amp with a built in DAC made for use with iPhone or Androids... specifically the Headstage Arrow 5TX.
Anyone here own a Blackberry 10 device and some sort of DAC made for use with mobile phones? if so, I would imagine it should also work fine with blackberry?

Hi Vapman,

As BlackBerry Passport prices have dropped, I just bought one a few months ago.
This phone is a very good solution for High end portable audio in combination with USB Dac.

It's working great with Sony PHA-1, but not with Sony PHA-2 with BlackBerry Passport and os 10.3.3.1435

Did you succeed to test with any other dac at last ?

I'd like to setup a short summary of all DAC supported with BlackBerry passport.

Many people don’t realize that Blackberry devices like the Classic and Passport support external DACs, making them perfect for audiophile setups. I’ve explored this in depth using the iFi Hip DAC 1 and FiiO E18. You can see the full review and sound test in my video here. Let me know if you have questions!
