New Head-Fier
Hello,
Years ago, sound on my T1 started cutting out on the right side. I acquired a replacement cable straight from Beyerdynamic, but only recently have I attempted to actually replace the cable (having basically no soldering experience, I was a bit hesitant).
Following a guide in an old thread on here, I managed to replace the cable and everything seemingly worked. Then I discovered the left and right channels were reversed. I swapped the cables going into each driver, but the left and right were still reversed. I swapped them back, this time making sure I didn't accidentally connect the cables into the same driver, but still got the same result. It seems like no matter what I do left and right are always reversed.
Would hooking the cables up to the wrong polarities cause this? Or maybe it's something else. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
