Hi!

I'm looking for a new pair of in-ear headphones that will be used for Edm/house music. They will be used every day. I'm looking for a pair whit good heavy bass but not overpowering. I have a budget around 100 bucks.

Have a great day!

My old headphones was seni cx 400ll, i think.

And I have one question about hz on headphones:dose lower hz mean better bass?

Lower hz doesnt mean anything, theres no rules for hz so manufacturers can BS it by a lot and basically say whatever they want.

For $100 try the Shure SE215 or Yamaha EPH-100 if you can find it. Monster Gratitude is around $65 but has better sound than their price suggests.

I understand that the bass is good in the se215, but how are the mids and highs?

I've heard a lot of good reviews of the Wooduo 2. They are a hair on the expensive side would be my only issue. Not sure how I feel about the wood construction either but they are on my list of possibles for good bass in a similar post.

Hi again!

Sadly I won't be able to get the Hisoundaudio wooduo 2, just cuz the fact that they will be imported which adds about 100 to the price. So it will probably be the se215 I get.

I still wonder if the middles and highs are good on the 215 headphones?
Also I wonder about the quality different in se215 vs my old cx400ll.is the se215 going to be a great improvement?

Have a great evening!

I've been shopping for much the same thing as you.  Below is my list with comments.

HiSound Audio HW2 WooDuo 2 ($100, possibly best bass for price)
JLab Epic ($50, own but may return, good sub-bass not sure about other ranges)
Sony XB60EX ($55,supposed to be great but discontinued)
Velodyne vPulse ($80, bought and returned, not as good as reviews would indicate)
Urbanears Kransen ($39, may buy)
MEE M31 ($30, seem pretty good for bass)
MEE M-Duo ($50, seem decent for bass but also other ranges)
SoundMagic E10 ($30, some reviews are phenomenal, others say they are terrible)
JVC HAFX1X Xtreme Xplosivs ($20, best bass for the price)

Somebody posted Future Sonics Atrio MG7 on For Sale/Trade here for $90, see if they're still available Mr. Goat. I own Atrios and many will agree with me when I say they're the final word in IEM sub-bass.

shure se215 special edition has more lower end performance
its a bang for buck considering its sound, build quality
its hard to find detachable cable in this price range... not all models provide this feature
i think you've got the idea of its sound... rolled off treble... bass and mids are full
