Beyerdynamic A20!!!

I just received a Beyerdynamic A20 amp to power my DT-770 600 ohm headphones, and wow! what a difference this makes compared with my old O2 amp. While the O2 is fine, it feels too clean and lacking in warmth and weight. The Beyerdynamic A20 adds some richness. It is a really nice thing - I am very happy. The DAC I'm using is an SMSL SD-793II but now I'm thinking the ODAC might even be better.

The ODAC with a home made Mogami cable is the best DAC for this setup!

I also recently acquired an A20. Mine is hooked up to a Gumby and a DT 1990 Pro. I wouldn't use it with any low impedance headphones, but it's really amazing for the high impedance stuff, especially given its price. It's a reminder that the products I enjoy the most are the ones that feel like a good value, not the ones that cost the most money.

Its too bad that the A20 is discontinued, very underrated solid state. How is the power output and is it a nuetral-warm amplifier? I wonder where to find though.

Is it best if we burn in Beyerdynamic A20 and A2 ?
