Beyerdynamic A1 clone

I had the built finished version for a. It sounded ok, but I didn't have a real one to compare.

It ended up failing after a week, with one channel dropping out. Later I got the ATH5000 clone in eBay and have been happy with that a few years. Much better in sound as well in many ways. I'd suggest the board level version of that instead.

If I change the caps and opamps, can it's sound better?

I didn't remember what opamps they used, but it looks like they are a part of the gain stage, and some MOSFETs or BJTs are used in the output stage. Probably will make a bit of an improvement if you change the opamps. I can't see too many film caps in the output stage, I would suspect upgrading the electrolytics would have a minor improvement.

But... What is the quality? Is good?
