I just ordered a Schiit Magni amplifier. I haven't chosen the headphones to use it with yet, but it's most likely going to be Grado 325e or Beyerdynamic T90 (if I can get a good deal). I'm probably going to skip the DAC and just rely on my Macbook's DAC for now, so I plan of connecting the macbook directly to the magni.

So the Magni only uses RCA cable input. I know that I can use the regular headphone jack/RCA cord, but are there better ways beside this to make the most of what I have? Like is there any way to use the HDMI or usb ports, if that gives better quality sound? Or do those just transmit "digital" signals that I would need an external DAC to translate? Suggestions?
