New user, hoping you guys can make a recommendation!!
I've been out of the headphone scene forever, been just using Airpods Pro 2 and recently found about multipoint as a feature, I always thought BT was still the BT of old and I was destined to either 2 pairs of earbuds or picking a device! This would be amazing for me with my windows laptop for work/gaming and my iPhone. I was about to pull the trigger on the Sony XM4s, even though XM5s are on the horizon, when I saw reports of the horrible mic quality on phone calls.
That lead me to finding out about the AZ80 just released and this forum (lots of other earbuds inbetween, of course, but the AZ80s seem to be onpar with the XM4s as great allarounders)!
So, to my request: what would be the best multi-point wireless earbuds with a great mic? I'm not an audiophile so sound isn't number 1, althought the sky is the limit so hopefully the top options have great sound. I just want comfy earbuds with great MP functionality that won't make me sound like a robot on my phone (I believe I'll always sound like crap on Windows because of BT limitations there, but if someone wants to guide me on this newfound "dongle" business so I can use wireless earbuds while playing games and the mic works, that'd be awesome.). I ordered the AZ80's from them direct, which now sounds like I'll be waiting forever, but am willing to place another order while I wait for these.
No budget, will pay whatever. I looked up a lot of the suggestions here and a lot don't have MP so I didn't even look into them further (FoKus Mystique, ZE8000, Svanar). Between 3ANC, Momentum 3, and XM4s seem to be the top contenders for ones with MP, not accounting for the mic! I'm also wondering if maybe the dongle business is the direction I go and have my device connected to my laptop with the dongle and BT to my phone at the same time, if that's a thing? Jesus, I feel dumb.
