On the hunt for something that is well integrated with Apple Music, as that is my only streaming service, which I mostly use for listening to a couple stations.
I first tried the WiiM Ultra but realized the only way to make it work is through Bluetooth. I returned that and got the Eversolo DMP-A6 2nd Gen.
With this one, it seems stations like my Discovery station and others are only available for use with the sideloaded app and not Eversolos built in app. This mostly works but you only get a small window that shows current playing music so it's a bit difficult to favorite a song with it being so small on the screen.
I have tried airplay but it is quite choppy despite excellent wifi signal on both my iPhone 16 Pro and the A6.
I'm tempted to return this as well, with the amount of limitations on a $1k piece of hardware.
Other requirements are that I want to be able to stream it wirelessly, I don't want to have to connect my phone to anything. I would prefer to have the option of fixed line out, which will connect to my Woo Audio WA6 SE.
Is there anything out there that would fit my use case? Thank you in advance for any recommendations!
