Hey everyone,

I’ve been noticing some minor stick drift on my controller and want to properly test it before deciding on a fix or replacement. I heard that using a stick drift tester can help check dead zones and drift issues accurately.

Are there any reliable tools or software you’d recommend for PS4 and Xbox One controllers? Also, any tips on calibrating or fixing minor drift without replacing the joystick? Would love to hear your experiences and recommendations.

Thanks in advance!

You can buy diy repair kits on Amazon... never tried them personally. Prior to that, you can try cleaning the sensors with a little alcohol.

Why don't you connect it to PC and see it it's drifting. Use this. https://hardwaretester.com/gamepad

Just replace the joystick with Gulikit TMR kits, check the controllers thread. Warning: you need some experience soldering or commission somebody to do it. Desoldering the old analog sticks isn't easy even for experienced folks.
