Hello everyone, I started searching for info about the best headphones to be used with my PS3 config and I've found tons of info, however I have some doubt about the optimal setup for my own configuration:
1- I use a monitor (not a TV) and I want the audio to come directly from the PS3 to the headphones, can USB headphones do this?
2- I think I need headphones rather than a headset because I am in a noisy environment so I need max isolation possible, am I correct that over the hear headphones are best (actually in-ear are probably even better but certainly not for quality?).
Through my reading I think my optimal choice would be USB dolby headphones, is it correct?
If not, what am I missing?
I've also read about amp but so far I failed at really understanding whether I'd need them.
I'll mainly use the headphones for PS3 gaming, sometimes (rarely) Pc gaming as well.
Currently I've got a SONY MDR-XD200 but I'm plugging it through a 2.1 audio system while I want to plug the new headphones directly to PS3 and maybe find something better at isolating external noise (and some higher audio quality?).
Thanks in advance,
Ivy
