Taking into consideration reliability, quality of customer service when RMAs arise, shipping speed and all that good stuff:

what are your recommendations for best online and brick/mortar retailers for high end headphones, amps, cables, etc.? And on the flip side, which are the ones you'd rather avoid?

I've never had a problem purchasing/service from Moon, ZMF, Upscale Audio, Hifiman, Meze, Audio46.

I've had problems purchasing from AliExpress, Encompass, Amazon.

Sometimes dealers take care more of you that ordering directly from the company, specially with warranty.

I have had tremendous customer service from Grado for some very small issues I had. Also, have had great service from Schiit, and if you looking for something you may want to consider Moon Audio, good guy, supports the community. Tells it like it is...
