Best lossless compression format for a rockboxed iMod

Hi,
I have some troubles with rockbox on my Ipod 5G.
When songs start , after few seconds it's stop and there is an error message witch appear "data abord ".
Have you some informations about this problem ?

yes febs.
All is ok for the installation in the Ipod.
but after few second of listening, i have this problem.
I had soon vew on the web that I'm not alone in this case, but it does'nt resolve the problem.

As is not the subject of this post where can i go to discuss about that and lets guys speakng about the real object of this post.

Same here. I started out with APE, but ended up with FLAC since it's truly open source and has better compatibility since it's open source.

Took me forever to convert all my APE's to FLAC though.

And yeah since the file sizes are so huge compared to MP3's, battery life suffers for HDD based players since the buffer gets used up very quickly asnd the HDD gets accessed more often.
