I like to hear whats going on around me, which is why I'm looking at earbuds.  I'm thinking of getting the apple ones.  since the last version I used were the ones before 2012.  from what I've read the newer ones that came out in 2012 sound much better.  I also read the Yuin PK3 are good too.  I found the apple ones for $8 shipped.  the Yuin PK3 are $36.  are the Yuins worth $28 more?

I have Panasonic RPHJE120K and nuforce ne-7m IEMs.  they sound great to me.  I just don't like the way they feel and how I hear my self breathe and can't hear my surroundings.  how will the apple and yuins sound compared to the panasonic or nuforce?

I think you would be much better off with open-back on-ears. How about some Koss Portapros?
