I love my HD800s, but sometimes need something with better isolation and less sound leak. Is there a closed alternative that will provide similar high-quality sound (even if it's not the same kind of sound). I've been looking primarily at:

ZMF Verite Closed
Audeze LCD-XC
Focal Stellia
Sennheiser HD820

I value clarity, instrument separation, and correct timbre (I'm an orchestra musician myself and find timbres to often be a little off on headphones).

Thoughts? Recommendations?

Thanks everyone!

Well that rules out the HD820S.

How about re-think closed and audition an open headphone with less sound leak. Clarity, instrument separation and correct timbre and I think Utopia.

The other closed options may be down to personal preference. At this level, an audition or at least a returns policy would be advisable.

The Oriolus Trailii is fabulous with classical but that is another ballgame. The bird seems to swoop in on all sorts of threads.
