Anyone heard Ben Kweller? I bought the Mr. Deeds soundtrack for the new DMB single (new album July 16!), and one of his songs was on it... Great sound, I'm gonna pick up his CD tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone had heard his CD or heard him live... Oh, and he's playin' in Dallas on July 19, so I think I'll go

Yup, he's pretty good, definitely one to keep an eye on. His music reminds me a lot of Ben Folds (Five), I've only listened to about 5 of his full songs and I've listened to the clips on CDNow....seems very promising. I'd say it's definitely worth a shot to buy his album and judging from what I've heard of his music, it's more likely than not that you'd be satisfied with it.
