Looks like it just a matter of disassembly and fuse replacement or elimination. If your solder skills are okay, I don't think it is too bad to accomplish. Take it apart, bypass the fuse, re-assemble it.

If yours hasn't had a problem yet, I would wait till it does before I would do the fix. I would definatly download and save the instructions for the repair, though.
