I auditioned new izo amps at Fujiya avic store.
The setup was shown in the picture. Click picture to enlarge.
The bottom one is dedicated power supply, the middle one is their new separate DAC iDA-1 and the top one is the headphone amp iHA-1 V2. The DAC also provide sound into iVHA-1 tube on its right(tube lit) via RCA interconnect. I used Edition9.

iHA-1V2 sounds well extended into highs and low bottom. I felt it neutral and flat but not energetic, laid back rather. It's natural but it could be bore or a bit sterile. Probably be good for typical classical music, ex. Mozart or the like.
A tube/opamp hybrid amp iVHA-1 shares the same sound signature, but the tube adds some warmth. However, overall it was not so tuby. I prefer Yamamoto HA02 in term of tuby sweet sounding.

I was not so impressed but both amps are not bad. I think some may prefer this natural and laid back sounding.
