Audioquest interconnect recommendation?

Are there any Audioquest interconnects worth getting for my setup? I am having a problem with my Copperheads and am going to send them back for a replacement or a better cable. Unfortunately they only carry the Audioquest line. Should I just ask for my money back and get Headphile cables instead?

yea most likely, i had a pair of diamondblack before, while they were better than the zu gedes, there are better cables out there at the 100ish price range.

I can't get a refund unfortunately. I might get a pair of diamondbacks instead of the copperheads... hopefully they'll be at least a little better built and wont crap out.

i've been using used diamondbacks for a few months now, and i'd recommend them.

I've got Corals and Vipers. I think the Corals are the King Cobra now.
One thing I have noticed is that the little arrows that I thought were supposed to indicate flow are backwards. Eric343 tested one pair of my Corals and said they were labeled wrong. I just checked the Vipers tonight while I was fiddling around with cables, and they are the same way. The shield grounded end is the end the arrows point to. Doesn't the shield ground to the source side?

I also have the Zu Gede, but I prefer it to the Coral. Go figure.

In what way did the Copperheads crap out?

One cable is producing intermittant sound. You really have to fiddle with it to get it to work and then if you move it it will crap out again.
