I actually already have a pair of Audioengine A2s, but to be perfectly honest, they have a bit too much bass compared to what I'd ideally like, even after playing around with equalizers for a while.

I was already aware of many reviews mentioning this feature, but as I got them at a good price (100 GBP), I thought I'd give them a go and overall I am reasonably happy with them, but was considering getting a USB DAC to improve them (incidentally was looking at the FiiO E10, if anyone also has any opinions on that as well

).  However, I also have the opportunity to get a pair of B&W MM-1s for a pretty decent price as well (£240) so was wondering if people here thought it would be best to get a USB DAC for a total spend of around £170 or go for the MM-1s for £240?
