@soundofsingle that's excellent.. I thought the dynamics were a bit better, but it's been offline for a while it was difficult to tell - thanks for sharing.

Hi guys, i'm struggling to find the device in hqplayer, anyone has experienced that before? It used to work but not anymore. I have set private network, turned off the firewall, tried most of the solution but no luck.

Sorry for the late reply.
You're talking about NAA? Yeah same thing happened to me. It was working on Win10 and not anymore in Win11. Using a FMC converter reconnected it. And don't know maybe due to FW update, it will not function again. However when it did functioned, tried any possible combination to suite my liking and ended up using PCM via AES. So it was not missed.

Hey Mickey, hope you are well! Yes NAA, it just stopped working one day, it was a shame as I bought the license from HQplayer and it was quite fun to switch between filters although it was taking a toll on my laptop and took forever to load a song. I’m using Roon via LAN now with PCM, quite happy with that but still like I’m missing some functions that I’m entitled. Maybe I should contact them again if it can be fixed, haven’t seen an update for some time now.Sorry for the late reply.

Using Roon + HQplayer upsampled to PCM352/384 via USB -> Singxer SU-6 via AES -> Hydra.HUB and upsampled again to PCM705/768 via I2S -> Hydra.VOX
Well, gents, it's been about 2 months since the Audiobyte team addressed stability issues and introduced new functionality for the SuperHub (SH). I've had the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy this device during this time.
The DSD transcoding capability has been particularly impressive. While it does lower the volume output level, I consider this a benefit as it allows more preamp gain to be utilized in the chain. Just today, Audiobyte released another update - firmware 1.33. While there are no immediately obvious functional changes, initial listening suggests an enhanced sound profile. My guess is they've further refined their clock management code, though we'll need to wait for official release notes to confirm the specific improvements.
This device has matured into one of the most elegant pieces of hardware in my admittedly cluttered gear collection. The physical design is precisely how I would have built it myself, and now with the refined software, it's become truly exceptional.
I'm curious to hear opinions from other SH owners about the 1.33 update. At this point, adding Tidal Connect and/or DSP capabilities would just be gravy on an already excellent device. I'm also very interested in learning more about their SuperVOX DAC, as the hardware on that unit looks equally superb.
Has anyone else installed 1.33 yet and noticed any differences?

Good morning I too would be curious to know the technical characteristics of the converter, since it has been announced for a year. I plan to update Super Hub in the next few days.

I'm also curious about the supervox and superhub. looks like they both have built in power supplies so they have abandoned the external power supply concept of Zap?

Yes they have abondoned ZAP, so that each unit are independent and not tied to it...

I put my hydravox/zap/hub back in my system recently and I remembered one problem I had with it. when I turn it on, with my desktop pc as source, it doesn't detect the computer's usb connection, I have to change inputs on the dac from USB to lan, then back to USB and it detects it.. have you guys had this issue and is there a fix?
