Updated HifiMan HE 400i Yoke and headband.?

Here in Canada it is quite an expense and hassle to get the new 400i 2020 version. Possible duties, expensive and slow shipping, etc. The older, but latest, iteration of the HE 400i with "metal reinforced" yoke and headband is readily available from this side of the border. Is the latest version of the pre 2020 400i okay as far as build quality?

Both are fine if you take care of your headphones. I have one of each era. The older one is more comfortable due to the wider headband while the newer one has much more robust yokes. I've had my older set for several years with no build quality issues. The pad seems start to fray after 2 years of heavy home use.
