I'm thinking about purchasing the Audeze LCD-2C or Focal Elex. I'm having a hard time deciding which to buy. Which would you recommend?

Lcd 2c no hesitation. You can EQ as you like.

While the Focal Elex bass does not eq well. And the subbass is weak.

Still the Focal Elex would be much more convenient.

I thought the sub-bass was stronger on the Elex? In any case, I had the LCD-2CB and the sub-bass was weak. I don't know how it compares to the LCD-2C.

Old guy w/great 2 ch. system but Noob to audiophile headphones. Try to listen for yourself to headphones you want. I did that & bought Elex. Although first night w/them i am
happy w/sound.

Focal Elex bass is great! Even sub bass is satisfying to me. LCD have better bass but they are so heavy, I can only wear them for 20 minutes.
