Most portable Amps/Dacs come with rubber bands used for attaching to smartphones; Those wide bands pose a real hassel by covering touch screen real estate.

Recently I did try the 3M Dual Lock to better fasten the components one to the other (see: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3M-Dual-Lock-Reclosable-Fastener-SJ3540-High-Strength-Velcro-Rubber-Adhes/251551895172?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D22695%26meid%3D7956093613298271979%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D9176%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D261395821659 )
All is well but the thickness (profile) of two fastened bands adds significant thickness to the entire rig.

Can someone recommends a very low profine (thinnest proile) Dula Lock or Velcro that will do the job and still retain durability and multi attchments?

Please advice

Thanks

I use 3M velcros, similiar to what you posted and the gap between devices is pretty significant, maybe at least 4mm? I comfort myself with the thought that it is better for ventilation between devices and prevent either unit from getting too hot. Its a good idea as I dislike rubber bands as well, at least for now.
