Guys, I was confuse and want to know the best Audio Format for Rockbox iPod Video 5.5G

Apple Lossless (ALAC)

Which one is best format for iPod Video 5.5G ..?

Oke, I already figure it out, ALAC format is best one for Normal iPod. ALAC= Apple Lossless..

But one more thing, which one is better..?
ALAC format or FLAC format..? Answer Please.. Since rockbox ipod can run FLAC file too

Yes, in theory the sound quality should be identical.
ALAC may be played on an iPod and is easy to use with itunes, but generally support is much better for FLAC (iPod can be modded to play FLAC anyway with rockbox as you know).
I love the idea of using a open source audio codec as well. So my vote goes to FLAC.
... As long as you don't use itunes.

Doesn't matter. I'd use FLAC so if you change players in the future you won't be stuck with a lot of ALAC files (although you can just transcode them later but having FLAC now would possibly save time I guess).

If you're planning to buy an Apple player in the future then ALAC, otherwise FLAC. Even with FLAC of course though, player support is generally not as good as it could be.
