Hey guys,

Looking to upgrade my home setup from the jds element and was looking into these 2 units. I don't have any super high powered headphones I'd be driving so power wise I think both would suffice. Toneality I really liked the ifi bl but form factor wise that won't work for me.

Please let me know your thoughts and if there should be any other in the price range to consider!

The Asgard 3 is a headphone amplifier only.
While the Topping DX7s is a combo DAC/amp.
Do you have a DAC to use with the Asgard 3?

Yea I saw you could swap out the dac card in the asgard which was appealing, I'd probably opt for the mulitbit I have a m11 with the ak4493 i could use as a dac so idk if there would be much of a point for the 4490 dac

I can't say anything about the Topping because I don't own one but I think you'll be pleased with the Asgard 3, there is zero hiss on any of my IEM's (see profile) and it's way more then enough for my planar (original he-400)

Stop giving incorrect information, see above post.\
I have a Asgard 3 with 4490, dac/amp combo and it's wonderful

Did not know Schiit had added a DAC feature to the Asgard.
