Of course I'll give it the burn in time, just for kicks. But if this thing were really that good and the giant killer that it is, it shoulda beaten out the 9000 or at least showed signs of doing so right out of the box. Or at least that's what I expected it to do. Burn in can only do so much after all.

Well, I don't remember hearing the original unit being a giant killer. Any threads claiming that at least had the Stancor PS, and usually had mods. Heck, Hirsch said adding the Stancor PS was just as big an improvement as the mods themselves.
